Atlantic Health is seeking a dynamic and motivated individual, who is interested in pursuing Physical or Occupational Therapy as a career, to join the energetic and innovative team of healthcare professionals in their Atlantic Rehabilitation Division in Morristown as a Rehabilitation Aide. This is a per diem position in which the candidate will support the daily operations of our therapists. This entry-level position plays a vital role in assisting both staff and patients, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for all who enter our care environment.

The ideal candidate's responsibilities include but are not limited to, maintaining a clean and safe environment for the delivery of rehabilitation services.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist physical, occupational, or speech therapists with non-clinical tasks

- Prepare treatment areas and clean equipment after use

- Support patients with mobility or transfers under supervision

- Handle clerical tasks such as scheduling, restocking supplies, or data entry

- Greet and assist patients and families in a professional and friendly manner

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications

- High School Diploma or GED required

- Ability to follow directions and work well in a team environment

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Candidate actively pursuing or planning to pursue a career in PT or OT are preferred and experience in a healthcare setting preferred, but not required

Atlantic Rehabilitation offers comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, audiology, wound care management and more. All of which are provided by a highly trained staff comprised of physiatrists; internists; physician assistants; nurse practitioners; rehabilitation nurses; physical, occupational, and recreational therapists; speech-language pathologists; social workers; psychologists; vocational rehabilitation counselors; dieticians; audiologists; and care managers.
