- RN Manager for MedSurg
Description
The Nurse Manager is responsible for daily operations of the Medical Surgical & Intensive Care Units. Able to provide age-appropriate nursing care and serve as a resource to the units’ patient populations. Must be adaptable to a fast-paced ever-changing environment. A strong team player. Must possess exemplary customer service skills and demonstrate consistent use of caring behaviors. Ability to communicate well with all members of the healthcare team. Responsible for holding staff accountable in maintaining compliance with CMS Conditions of Participation and Joint Commission Standards.
Responsibilities:
- Interviews and hires staff, counsels, and disciplines staff as appropriate.
- Coordinates scheduling of staff, daily assignments, and monthly schedules.
- Other Duties: performs tasks of staff nurse as directed by Nurse Director.

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- Valid Maine RN License (or eligible to obtain)
- 3 years of clinical and relevant experience
- BLS Certification
- ACLS Certification
