Are you a compassionate and experienced leader looking to make a meaningful impact in long-term care? We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Nursing Home Administrator to join Veterans Care Centers of Oregon, a not-for-profit organization that manages Oregon’s state Veterans homes. This position assists the Administrator in overseeing daily operations, ensuring compliance, and fostering a supportive environment for residents and staff at a 151 bed Veterans Home located in The Dalles, Oregon in the beautiful Columbia Gorge. This facility is a Medicare/Medicaid/VA Accredited licensed Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) and the first Malcom Baldrige Gold award winning Veterans home in the country (2014).

A Strong Candidate will:

Possess a current Nursing Home Administrator License in good standing in Oregon.
Be good with people and clearly demonstrate leadership abilities.
Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Have thorough knowledge of federal and state regulations applicable to skilled Nursing Facilities.
3+ years’ experience as an Administrator in the long-term care industry.
Familiarity using the Point Click Care EMR system.
