As MedMinder continues our high growth, we are looking to expand our pharmacy department and are seeking an energetic Pharmacy Technician that wants to grow professionally in a fast-paced environment. Pharmacy Technicians are responsible for communicating directly with our patients and escalating issues to a Pharmacist as needed. Successful team members are reliable, energetic and customer-service oriented. They must possess strong computer/data entry skills, strong communication and organizational skills and be a self-starter. All Pharmacy Technicians work under the supervision of the Pharmacist.
Execute high volume production workflow.
Process the fulfillment of orders to client specifications.
Work with our state-of-the-art Synmed and VBM automation.
Contact patients to review orders on a monthly basis.
Perform proactive outreach to physician offices for prescriptions and/or refills.
Conduct data entry and insurance verification in Pharmacy software.
Resolve insurance rejections.
Assist in answering incoming patient calls when needed.
Resolve customer concerns in a professional and caring manner.
Support the Shipping team with packaging medications for delivery.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a customer support setting where patience and exceptional listening skills are essential.
Experience making outgoing and receiving incoming customer calls.
Critical thinker, with great organizational skills & time management.
The ability to clearly communicate challenges and escalate issues when needed.
Strong work ethic and desire to support MedMinder’s patients.
Must have a current Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician license.
Must have Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or the National Pharmacy Technician Association (NHA)
