Facilitate seamless patient transitions by coordinating safe arrivals and departures, creating a welcoming and organized experience from admission to discharge.
Monitor and communicate vital changes in a patient’s physical or emotional state to the nursing team, serving as a critical "early warning" advocate for patient safety.
Document every step of the patient care journey with precision to ensure the clinical team has the high-quality data needed for informed decision-making.
Maintain a healing environment by managing room cleanliness and equipment readiness, allowing the medical team to focus entirely on life-saving care.
Requirements
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Nurse Aide credentialed from the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Not required to maintain as the NURSAID does not expire for hospital settings.
Education:
Current enrollment in High School and qualification in the Youth Apprenticeship program per School requirements is required.
Work Experience:
No experience required; experience in job related field preferred.
