About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to step into a leadership position within a highly supportive environment as a Senior Occupational Therapist with the Northern Community Mental Health Service.
In this role, you will work as a key member of a multidisciplinary team, delivering specialist occupational therapy services to adults living with complex mental health conditions. Your work will support consumer recovery, enhance functional capacity and promote meaningful participation in community life.
Key Responsibilities:
- conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and develop tailored treatment plans in community settings
- deliver evidencebased interventions that enhance independence, wellbeing and quality of life
- provide clinical supervision, guidance and mentorship to junior staff and students
- work collaboratively with consumers, families, carers and community partners to ensure holistic, personcentred care
- contribute to service development, innovation and quality improvement initiatives
To be eligible for this position, you must hold an appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which entitles registration as an Occupational Therapist with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.
