Description
SSM Health is seeking PRN Advanced Practice Providers (APPs - PA or NP) to join our Urgent Care PRN Pool, supporting multiple Ambulatory Care Centers (ACCs) across the Oklahoma City metro and surrounding communities. This is a flexible opportunity ideal for experienced providers looking for supplemental shifts.
Practice Locations:
Providers must be flexible to work at any of the following SSM Health Ambulatory Care Centers:
- Covell (Edmond)
- Harrah
- El Reno
- Purcell
- NW 63rd Street (Oklahoma City)
Details:
- Minimum requirement: one 12-hour shift every 90 days
- $75.00 per hour
Position Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and treat a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries
- Provide care for patients of all ages
- Perform common urgent care procedures (suturing, casting, splinting)
- Experience reading X-rays is preferred
Required Qualifications:
- Board Certified:
- Nurse Practitioner (FNP) ANCC or AANP
- Physician Assistant NCCPA / PANCE
- Active Oklahoma NP or PA license
- BLS certification required
- EHR proficiency
- Prior experience in Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, or similar fast paced clinical setting
