Deffet Group, Inc. is pleased to have been retained by Ingleside Engaged Living to conduct an executive search for a President and Chief Executive Officer.

Ingleside Engaged Living, headquartered in Rockville, Maryland, is a mission-driven organization with a well-established reputation for quality, a healthy workforce culture, and a growth mindset. Ingleside consists of three not-for-profit life plan committees, a foundation, a parent corporation, and a for-profit management company. The three campuses provide a full continuum of care and offer enriching programs focusing on personal growth, purposeful living, and wellness. 

Ingleside is seeking a President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead Ingleside through a period of significant growth that includes campus expansions and potential affiliations, acquisitions, and other strategic partnerships. Reporting to the Board of Directors, this individual must be able to lead growth and change thoughtfully, preserve what is working well, and address areas requiring greater capacity, consistency or accountability. The individual should combine an enterprise-wide perspective with respect for each community’s distinct culture and demonstrate a proven ability to develop and empower other leaders.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding and appreciation of not-for-profit mission driven organizations and be a visible, approachable, and authentic leader with exemplary communication skills among a variety of audiences. The successful candidate will have experience leading an operationally complex, multi-site organization with a strong executive leadership team; a master’s degree in health administration, business, or a related field; and a minimum of ten years’ management and leadership experience in senior living. An active LNHA license is preferred.
