Animal Dental Care & Oral Surgery is looking for a registered veterinary technician to join our Fort Collins team. Whether you’re bringing years of experience or are earlier in your career with a solid clinical foundation, we welcome your application.
Previous dentistry or specialty experience is not required. We’re looking for someone who cares about their patients, enjoys working with others, and is excited to learn. We provide hands-on training to help you build your skills in veterinary dentistry and oral surgery.

What you’ll do
You’ll help care for dogs and cats receiving dental treatment and oral surgery. Your responsibilities will include:
Preparing patients for procedures and assisting with anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery
Providing attentive nursing care before and after procedures
Performing dental cleanings, charting, and dental imaging as your training and skills develop
Placing IV catheters, collecting samples, administering medications, and calculating doses
Preparing and maintaining instruments, equipment, and treatment areas
Helping pet owners understand treatment plans, estimates, and home-care instructions
Communicating patient needs and concerns with our doctors and team

Requirements
A registered/certified veterinary technician
A strong foundation in veterinary nursing and patient care
Anesthesia experience preferred
An interest in dentistry and a willingness to develop new skills
Clear communication, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach
Dependability and a commitment to compassionate patient care
Ability to safely perform the physical duties of the role, including lifting 30+ pounds
